Captchas not used when posting with Popfetcher

Hello!

I just set up popfetcher (v1.17) and spamprotection (v.1.16) on Serendipity (v1.1.2) and PHP (v5.1.6).
Adding entries by email works great and there is nothing to complain...except:

For entries made by email there is only the option of moderating the comments and no captchas are being used.
Is there a chance of posting entries by email and make users use captchas to add comments?

If I add entries throught the web interface, captchas are used perfectly right.

Thanks in advance,
Rupert

Hi!

The use of captchas does not depend on "per-entry" settings but purely on your spamblock settings - there can't be a difference in whether you add an entry via web-interface or via email. Note that by default captchas are not displayed to you if you are logged in to your blog.

You can control whether captchas are always shown, or only for entries older than X days. This can be controlled in the spamblock plugin config.

It might be that the publishing date of your entries via email or via web differ?

Garvin
