Hi,
I removed the old installation and I tried installing a fresh using the latest CVS version available to download.
After installing, I got the following error ...
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/auction/public_html/include/admin/installer.inc.php on line 449
Also, take a look at my home page, the default theme does not load properly. Its borken.
Link to my site ....
http://www.auctionwire.info
Also, the admin link from the home page is broken.
Please help...I was to use the latest version.

Thanks, the error message was because of a bug in the installer. With your help I could just fix it. But this case only happens when Serendipity could not write to your .htaccess file!
Your page doesn't seem to load because of that problem, an invalid .htaccess. Make sure that the webserver can write to that file!

Hi again Gravin,
I got it to work. Did a fresh install and made the .htaccess writable.
However, i got this error while installing ...
Error: serendipity_event_browsercompatibility:61832e72b1540db4026307a1611ea7c3 ()
You might want to look at it or might help me what to do with what failed to install ?
Thanks

Okay, now we're making progress

)
About the browserplugin: Can you check if plugins/serendipity_event_browsercompatibility/serendipity_event_browsercompatibility.php exists? It may be that the file/directory is missing?

garvin

Hi Gravin,
You got it right.
Actually, the file does exist, however the file serendipity_event_browsercompatibility.php is missing the last 'p' in its extension.
So the file we have in the CVS repository has this name serendipity_event_browsercompatibility.ph ... and thats the reason for failure.
However, I have now renamed the file to .php and to install that plugin, i just do it from mya dmin interface ??
Thanks much again.
Best Regards

You've got a strange CVS checkout...the file is properly named in SF.Nets CVS!
You can rename the file and then just install the Browser compatibilities plugin, yes.
