In order to make the left navigation menus more clear, I would like to split them in 2 blocks :



I'm wondering whether this is possible using serendipity (I'm using version 1.1)?

I'd use an HTML Nugget for that. Two of them, to be precise.

Using the original categories plugin, copy the URLs of the categories into the HTML Nuggets. When you've got them arranged the way you like, remove the original categories plugin. Voila! Two category boxes, with only the stuff you want.

Of course, if you add, delete, or modify categories, you'll have to update the HTML Nuggets, too. But it does give you ultimate control over their display.
