I cannot remove "front page" from the Static Page

Post by sjbmaine »

I have Static Pages and Static Pages List installed and working well with one exception. In the static page list plugin configuration I have selected the option to not create a link to the frontpage. Still, in my list of static pages the front page is showing.

I have a static page called "home" that I've set as Serendipity's front page. I have set this page not to show in the navigation as well, but I can't seem to get rid of that Frontpage link in the side bar.

Am I misunderstanding the purpose of that toggle? I really don't want a link to the front page to appear.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi!

The "frontpage" link only affects the real s9y frontpage. Not a staticpage you might have set as frontpage.

Might sound confusing, but if you want specific static pages NOT to show in navigation, I believe you can specify that in the options of a staticpage, and not in the staticpage sidebar plugin itself.

I also beliefe the 'Frontpage' toggle is not regarded when you use the javascript-treeview for the sidebar plugin.

Garvin,
I've got everything else set up properly, so my issue is because I'm using the tree format. Thanks for the follow-up!
