Hello,

I am wanting to have a HTML nugget for only one of my categories. I want to highlight specific entries of interest for my readers is there some easy way to do this or do I need to get doing some tricky code stuff?

I guess I am looking to announce certain topics and have that announcement section only show in the sidebar for the relevant category.

you shouldtake a look at the toggle sidebar state event plugin which will allow you to do exactly as you want.
