admin suite login page loop

This topic has been handled before in the forum but non of the suggested fixes worked for me.

I can log into the adminstration page but anytime i click on one of the links i go right back to the login page so i can't actually administer my page.

This behavior started only after i upgraded from 1.1.1 (or perhaps just 1.1, i dont quite remember) to 1.1.2 up until the upgrade i could administer things just fine.

the server is apache on linux, using php 4.4.4 unfortunately its on a hosted server so i cant access any of the php config files (i don't think) although since the problem only occured after upgrade i don't think that php is the problem.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi!

Maybe it could help if you purge the cookies in your browser and make a clean re-login. Or try a different browser to see if cookies are making the trouble here?

I'm at school now and tried it on my laptop and it works fine, i'll try it again when i get home on the desktop which is where it was not working yesterday.

on the desktop yesterday I had tried it in firefox, ie, and opera, none of them worked.

I'll clean the cookies and whatnot when i get home and try them all again.

ok, that's just weird, no problem anymore and i did absolutely nothing, god i love software.
