Changing the MySql connection manually

Post by Guest »

Hi folks.
For security reasons I had to change my MySql pwd; the operation has been brought by by my provider, so I was told the new password just an hour ago.
Predictably, serendipity is down.. I need to change the password for the MySql connection manually...
Which file should I edit?
Cheers,
Davide

serendipity_config_local.inc.php should do it.

I recently did this and changed the value in the file mentioned, but when I upgraded s9y, the change was undone and I had to do it again.
Also, be sure not to add anything extra after the closing ?> tag.
