Hiya how are you? i just thought id post this, i dont know if you would class this as a bug, here goes:
when i tried to post a "New Entry" via admin once iv added all my content and clicked on publish, everything seem to go alright, but on the same screen if i make any changes to that entry without going to the "edit entry" on the menu and then save again, it create a new post instead of editing the privious one
if its not a bug is there a way to disable this, its kinda annyoing
Thanx

Hi!
Which browser are you using? Did you disable javascript maybe? Without javascript, s9y cannot set the saved entry ID to the form of the entry you are editing.
Best regards,
Garvin

Hi!
When you save an entry, do you see any messages on-screen? What does it read?
My though is that it might be some plugin is being executed on entry-save and that is failing. If the save process is interrupted somehow, that can result in serendipity not sending the latest entry ID back to the editing form. A hot candidate for such a plugin would be the "Announce entries" event plugin. Any chance you'Re using that one? Or any other plugins that might deal with an entry when it's being saved, like XML-RPC mirroring, google sitemap, ...?
Best regards,
Garvin
