Hi there,

I'm rather new to Serendipity and still discovering the system.
Now I would like to ask if there is a photo/image gallery plugin available that allows you to add categorized image galleries to your weblog.

I've seen some external stuff like Flickr galleries but I want a local hosted gallery plugin.

Is there something like that?
Please be so kind to let me know.

Did you already discover the integrated serendipity mediadatabase? It allows for subdirectories to be created, and there are plugins that can show images of the gallery either in the content or in the sidebar. Both event and sidebar plugins you can check out on http://spartacus.s9y.org/ in the sections

Check out especiall the sidebar plugin "Unified Sidebar Image Display" and the event plugins "Gallery Display" and "Thumbnail Page".
