If I am uploading a graphic like lübeck.jpg
the result ist lbeck.jpg in the mediadatabase
not too bad, but ugly.
My wish is a popupwindow wich asks to rename the graphic.
Not to mention that using german ulmlauts in the www is no godd idea at all, but this is an other issue

You can already rename an image or specify its name when uploading - doesn't that allow umlauts already?

But still, having those special characters is something we'Re trying to avoid
