Hi!

Sadly the caption boxes require some amount of clearing, so I believe there is no way to make them float next to another with the current HTML DIVs that are being emitted?

But maybe someone with good CSS understanding could help here...

Actually, mine just go next to another automatically. I think it's because I've got them floating left. You could remove the spacing by setting margin to 0px.

The big problem is going to be centering them, I think. Images center differently depending on browser; as I recall, you have to set text-align:center for at least one browser. And to center a wrapping div, you'd have to assign it a width.
