a simple "thank you"

Serendipity has very nice URLs. Google just loves it... very well done. Most of my keywords score very high on the first page (some are No. 1) and the site is only two weeks online.
Will the coming version keep this URL structure? I mean we don't want to confuse the bot with dead links

Sure, we care about staying that way. We won't break your blog.

Leonard, what do you mean? Wolfgang just was grateful for the usual URL structure of Serendipity, unrelated to any plugin...

Does Serendipity have a keywords area that I missed?

I think he was just talking about keywords he entered in the title of the entry. If I title my entry "Microsoft drops VirtualStudio", and many people link to my entry, I would get a high score for "Microsoft" and "VirtualStudio", because the words which are in the title of an entry are used in very relevant HTML places.

gavinhicking that's what i meant. I am using the mod_rewrite and it produces clean URLs with the name of the entry and .html at the end. That's what google likes very much.
I read that the developers are "optimizing" the url rewrite in the cvs of the 0.8 release and so i was afraid, that they could break the whole thing by possibly implementing a completely new structure, which would confuse the bot and would make all google listings obsolete...

Wolfgang, no we are doing quite the opposite: URLs which are not "nice" right now (like categories or search pages) have been niced up. The main URLs will stay the same because of the reason you mentioned...

That will make serendipity even better.
I'm not using it as a personal blog, but as a news page with info about Buggies, karts and so on and it really fits my needs better than any big and fat cms like Mambo, Postnuke or Drupal and the likes. Just keep it going you guys rock.
