Edit an entry, loosing the category

When an admin edit an entry Serendipity 0.8 alpha 9 is loosing the attached category
Please describe the complete steps of what you do and how many categories you select and with which user permission setups. I can't reproduce this problem without more information, it's working her for me without a problem.
Also tell which database you use, and which browser.
