Hello,

I am a user of serendipity. I first heard about Serendipity on twit.tv where the PHP Creator Mr. Rasmus Lerdorf told that his personal blog is powered by Serendipity.
For me there is no 2nd thought about me using Serendipity, I took it as what the hell, when the creator of PHP uses it, whom am I not to use.

I was like wow, let's visit the Serendipity website and see what is in there, I ended up browsing the forums here learning different things about Serendipity. I am just a simple user and my skills are very limited when it comes to programming and design, still I found serendipity to be very user friendly. I simply love it that is all I can say about Serendipity.

Now regarding the website I am doing with Serendipity, It is an online magazine with a Tag line of 'Life online Life offline balance both!', basically it contains current news and happenings with editorials and specials. It is not a cut and paste website, we are just starting and there is lot to be done yet.

I am looking for a Custom design with a magazine look done uniquely. I will pay for the design and I will even print Powered by Serendipity and Design credit for the life of the design.

I will reveal the url of the website to the interested designers. It is just not yet ready for prime time and pasting the url is no use as it now has the default Serendipity skin on it, nothing great is achieved except a handful of unique content :)

I sincerely urge you designers who has experience with Serendipity Skinning to come forward and message me or reply to this thread.

Thank you very much for creating this fabulous application Mr. Garvin

Hi cworks,

I know that Dave Cummins (username d_cee) has produced a couple of templates for magazines and he really seems to understand what editors are looking for, you might want to get in touch with him. I emailed him a few minutes ago to let him know about this thread, so he might get in touch with you over the next days or so (sorry can't be more specific, we're in totally different timezones).

Cheers

Carl
