Error codes!! while instaling Plugins

I always get the following error code when i wanna install Plugins!
Fehler: serendipity_event_entrysplit:9e7eba60d958e4d9850b9e38d0de5368 (online_repository)
DEBUG: Plugin serendipity_event_entrysplit:9e7eba60d958e4d9850b9e38d0de5368 not an object: .

This error can happen if a plugin was not properly downloaded (check your plugins directory if the requested plugin was downloaded) or the inclusion of a file failed (permissions?)

Hi!
Is your plugins directory writable? Does the serendipity_event_entrysplit directory exist? Which mirror did you configure in the spartaucs plugin`?

Hi Garvin, thanks for your reply
yes, the Plugins directory is writable with 777. But there ´s no serendipity_event_entrysplit directory there. Only serendipity_event_entryproperties...And as the mirror in Spartacus i use the default one (Netmirror.org).
Hope you can give me further help with this...

Hi!
Which serendipity version are you using?
Do *.xml files exist in your templates_c directory?
Can you ask your server provider if he is running any content-filtering applications like mod_security or suhosin?

Hi,
i downloaded the version last week so it should be the latest one..It´s 1.1
There are three .xml-files in the templates_c-directory:
- package_event_de.xml
- package_sidebar_de.xml and
- package_template.xml
I can ask the provider, surely. If he´s running content-filtering applications, what then?

Hi!
If he is running that application, then you won't be able to use Spartacus and will need to fetch plugins manually from
http://spartacus.s9y.org/...
So let's wait for the feedback

Thanks a lot! But anyway...they are very slow in answering (my provider).
In any case i can download the plugin manually, no?
I have another question meanwhile (and there´s no third party needed like my provider, i think
):
I´ve set up some static pages but on these i don´t wanna have any sidebar-navigation (the plugins shouldn´t show up, but only the content). Is that possible?
here´s the link if you wanna have a look (but beware! i really just started
) The links on the left sidebar are made with "static pages".

Right, you can manually load the plugin.

(BTW, your using the ´ the wrong way - the character you want to use is ', which is achieved by pressing "Shift + #"
)
Yes, you can have static pages like that. There's an option at the bottom of the static page creation panel where you can say "Include in navigation".
