comment/entries notification

Hello,

I could not receive any notification whenever new entries or comments posted because my current hosting disabled the php mail() function due to spamming issues. Is there alternative way to make this work ? please help me out. Thanks a lot.

Never mind, this problem fixed. I manually added smtp and port number to the config file. It works!
