As I once found some statements that s9y is a wordpress spinoff, I'm concerned about the wordpress exploit I read about e.g. here: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/83555/from/rss09.

Does this affect s9y and is there a version of s9y that fixes this thinga?

Hi!

Serendipity and Wordpress have no core code in common. Both are completely distinct products.

WordPress is a Spinoff of B2blog, though.

The security exploit of WP does not affect Serendipity.
