I found a solution for appears on front page :
http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?t=8401
but for backend, it doesn't show on the admin section for me to create static pages. Also, I searched on this problem that after installed the staticpages plug in, there should be a table serenpidity_staticpage created as well but I checked my db, there is no such table created. What am I missing or what other plugin will do this ? Please help. Thanks.

Hi!
How exactly did you install the staticpage plugin?
If you see no menu for staticpages in your admin menu, it seems like you didn't install it at all?
Best regards,

Hi garvinhicking,
what I did was:
when I tried to install any plugin from Spartacus, I got error similiar to this one:
http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?t=48 ... all+plugin
Then fixed it by followed the instruction from above link: manually download plugins from
http://php-blog.sf.net/ and up them to my plugins folder. Removed error and tried re-installed. Now, I have Static Pages installed under Even Plugin, but can't see any link in the admin let me create static pages. So the table serenpidity_staticpage also not created. Please help. Thanks.

Hi!
Are you logged into your serendipity blog as an admin? Can you make a screenshot of your full plugin listing manager screen and post it?
Best regards,
Garvin

Yes, I am logged in as Admin.
Here are the screen shots. Since the admin configuration page is long couldn't fit on one screen so I captured the top and bottom of the screen so you can see the admin and the staticpage plugin.
1. top admin screen:

2. bottom admin screen:

3. I'm also able to edit and save staticpages plugin:

Please help. Thanks a lot.

Hi!
Hm, okay. The plugin then definitely is installed. It should show its link in the "Entries" section.
Could it be that you edited the permissions of your Administrator-Usergroup via the Group Management, or maybe you changed the "Userlevel" of your user in the User Management to something lower than Admin? Did you maybe disable certain plugin hooks/events in the group management?
That is really strange, I've never seen this happen before. If the questions above can't help you, the only help I could give you is if you have FTP access for me to your site so that I could debug why the staticpage plugin is not showing its output.
