Is it possible to alter the configuration so that images are linked to JavaScript popup windows with adaptive size by default?
This will be very useful with the POPfetcher plugin installed.

I think he means that when he uses the popfetcher plugin to create a new entry that the default media manager settings are not using the javascript settings to display images, instead it probably uses the default open in the same window setting.

Hi Stephan, thanks for replying. Some of the images are rather large so I don't think that the lightbox plugin will be suitable. I haven't used it but I have used
ibox extensively elsewhere on other sites and the space is restricted by the size of the browser window and I am guessing that the lightbox plugin would be the same.

Hi Carl, Yes, you are correct. How would one change the default behaviour and attributes of images posted in messages?

use the lightbox plugin and choose "lightbox plus" - it will do what you are seraching for. And it is even better I think: It resized the image when the user resizes the browser. And the user can click on the left top edge to see the image in the normal size!
Have a look at

Hi Stephan,
Thanks for the information about thickbox - I have installed it and the dynamic re-sizing is excellent.
Also tested it with the POPfetcher and it does exactly what I want.
Best regards,
