Hi,
The new media library in S9y 1.1 is a good enhancement to the old one, however, I have a few enhancement request that are good for usability:
- I would like to control how many images are shown by default: now I have to put it on 100 myself each time; I want to be in control of this!
- Please put the Next/Previous buttons also on the bottom! When I browse 100 pictures at a time and I scroll down, don't find what I need, I have to scroll all the way up again to the top to browse to the next 100 images! That is not userfriendly at all!
Seems to me these are just small enhancements and I would really appreciate it since usability would be very much improved by this.

Re: Usability enhancement requests for media library
Hi!

I will implement this the coming days.
Best regards,
Garvin
The setting on the amount of images is stored in a browser cookie, so if you change that optioni t should be remembered next time?- I would like to control how many images are shown by default: now I have to put it on 100 myself each time; I want to be in control of this!
That's a good suggestion. But the aggressive undertone is uncalled for- Please put the Next/Previous buttons also on the bottom! When I browse 100 pictures at a time and I scroll down, don't find what I need, I have to scroll all the way up again to the top to browse to the next 100 images! That is not userfriendly at all!
I will implement this the coming days.
Best regards,
Garvin

Re: Usability enhancement requests for media library
Uh: that never ever worked for me: not in 1.1 and not in any previous versions and with any browser I use: not in IE 6,7 FF 1.0,1.5,2.0 (Linux or Windoze) or Opera.... Don't know why... But since you can control stuff like what editor you want to use and how many entries are shown etc. etc. it seem that this would be a nice option to control...garvinhicking wrote:Hi!

That sounds like a good plan: thanks for the followup!garvinhicking wrote:I will implement this the coming days.

I have to be honest and say I agree with Garvin. You're asking him to do work on your behalf - free! What's wrong with asking in a pleasant way?hgoor wrote:Uh? Excuse me? Hi!
I've added the NEXT/PREV navigation to the top and bottom of that page now, but when I choose a different number of images on my installation it remains saved in a cookie!
Using WindowsXP, Firefox 1.5.0.2, JavaScript activated and no cookie blockers.
Best regards,
Garvin
