Ampersands (&)

I upgraded some plugins and now & in the entries cause problems in the Atom feed. Did Serendipity markup plugin change the way it deals with & sign?

For a feed (and an XHTML page) to be valid, ampersands need to be converted to

Code: Select all

Could be that one of the plugins you installed is responsible for this; it also happens quite often that I copy & paste text or links into my postings and forget to convert the ampersands.

Isn't there a plugin that should take care of this? I'm not quite sure ...

So, please check any recent entries you made for ampersands. If this doesn't help we need to track down the evil plugin

I upgraded all the plugins that were upgradable yesterday, no removing just upgrading. Today a two week old entry caused a problem in the feed and it had not done that earlier. So, yes, some plugin took care of this earlier.

The "Fix common XHTML errors" should take care of the "&" recoding?

Do you know by chance which plugins were upgraded?

Hmm, for some reason I did not have that plugin installed. Is it one that is installed by default? If so, I must have removed it.
