I tried to install 0.8 and all went well until I got to the first page where you get a system check. I had no red, some green and some yellow. I thought the yellow items were recommendations, not required. Anyway I expected to be redierected from the page but nothing ever happened. I decided not to be on the bleeding edge so I downloaded 0.7.1 and proceeded to install. Unfortunately I received this error message. Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\program files\apache group\apache\htdocs\blog\serendipity\serendipity_functions_installer.inc.php on line 295.

Pretty discouraging if it hadn't been for the fact that all went well on my developement server at home. I was up and running in about 15 minutes. (had to make coffee).

Anywho, I'm new to php so trying to debug is like a trying to put panty hose on a rooster. HELP!!!!

You should be good with 0.8, if no reds are found - two links will appear in the bottom, to guide you on to the next steps.

Also if these links does not appear, please copy/paste the diagnostics to the forum, so we can better check for problems
