I am trying to adapt an existing layout (Blue Streak) for my blog.
I am getting close but I've run into a problem. The blog renders fine in netscape and firefox, but not in IE.
Essentially, the layout is in a table, one row an three columns. The columns are for the content area, a spacer, then the sidebar.
I made the content area a fixed width, then the spacer was set to zero width. This should pull the content area and the sidebar together. And it does, but not in IE. There, it looks like a space of about 150 pixels between the content area and the sidebar.
I've fiddled with the index.tpl and the style.css, but to no avail. There's no real documentation for this, so I work by examining other templates, and by changing values here and there and observing the results.

So far, it's just test posts.

On edit:
Never mind. Problem was a too-wide entry. Ignored by Netscape and Firefox, but not IE.
