I just started using Serendipity, and it looks VERY promising! Thank you to the s9y team.

I haven't found anywhere a option/plugin for the equivilant of MT's QUICKPOST...something I really enjoyed about MT.
Is there a Quickpost option, or can that be included?

Again, thank you s9y team and contributors.

http://www.elise.com/mt/archives/000253 ... arklet.php has a description...

Kind of a one-click publishing thing, where you front-load info into posts from a page you are browsing... Typically in a pop-up window so you don't lose you place...

This is something I have on my list of things to look at, but I haven't started anything...

My personal requirements :D are:
Not using username/password in the url (which I have seen)
Importing at least the page link.
Being about to do it from Firefox and IE.

If anyone has any others, post 'em and I'll look at them..

There aren't any real standards on how to do this, but some systems support it (at least Bloggar, Drupal, MT, LiveJournel, Nucleus)..

I was planning at looking at some other things before I got to this, but I could switch stuff around... But I've never really used this type of feature..

If anyone has any thoughts or has actually used something like this, please post..

In 0.8 (or even 0.7.1, I can't remembeR) we do support the Firefox "JustBlogIt" extension. Maybe that's what you're searching for?

Garvin

Garvin,
I'm familiar with that extension..
Is it documented anywhere? I assume you use the custom setting, but how do you set it up?
I think I could build an IE compliment if that would be useful...

For the sake of documentation:

It is only supported in 0.8
I had to use
And authentication screen does not pass the page though, so you either need to stay logged in (with "Save information"), or be prepared to login once and then add your link..

Thanks Garvin! You rock!
