Hi all,
i just published a poll
(What makes a 'good' open source community for you?) on
TXP Magazine. Please feel free to vote. Select up to 3 statements you wholehaertedly agree with.
I know the s9y forum is a nice place. I just publish this here for those of you who are interested in the topic.

Hi!
That's an interesting poll, but I believe you might not get good results. The options are too granular, and each of them is very important to the whole construct.
Instead of checking multiple options you should let people rate each option from 0 to 100 or in other increments - at long run this could yield more interesting results.
I would have loved to participate, but I was not able to restrict myself to 3 items...
Best regards (and see you tomorrow *g*),
Garvin

Hi Garvin,
you are completely correct... a better survey would rate each statement as you suggest. Trouble is, i have no poll software for such a rating system
We will publish some more articles on the issue and in fact a lot of articles and researches on the topic were done already. In the end we do not want to conclude just one or two points are most important but to see what people, who are involved in an OS project, regard to be
most important to them.
No worries, some more reflecting articles will follow...
cu tomorrow, looking forward...
