I just upgraded from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 and it seems to be stuck in a loop when i try and upgrade.

when i go to my blog page i get this "Serendipity has detected that your currently installed Serendipity version is 1.0.1. It seems you are attempting to upgrade to version 1.0.3, so you need to click here to continue the upgrade process."

so i click "here" where i am takin to the upgrade agent. where i am presented with "Permissions
/usr/home/web/nuvo/nuvoBLOG/ Writable
/usr/home/web/nuvo/nuvoBLOG/templates_c Writable
/usr/home/web/nuvo/nuvoBLOG/uploads/ Writable

Version specific tasks:
No version specific tasks found

It appears you do not need any upgrades run
"

and the only option is to click on the button that says "Consider serendipity upgrade" so i click on that and im right back to "Serendipity has detected that your currently installed Serendipity version is 1.0.1. It seems you are attempting to upgrade to version 1.0.3, so you need to click here to continue the upgrade process."

any ideas?

Hi!

Is maybe your serendipity_config_local.inc.php file not writable for the webserver user?

Best regards,
Garvin

it is writeable...actually i found the problem though. it was because the site was residing in a different domain space then where it was originally installed. after i moved back to the old domain it took the upgrade without a hitch.
