.ignore error

hey guy's

i'm creating a new template (yes after my shared installation adventure, i needed a new chalange) but when i'm creating a new index-picture i get an error can somewhone tell me what's the problem? and where the .ignore file is for?
Bestand overgeslagen: .ignore het bestand is niet leesbaar.
Gereed (0 afbeeldingen gesynchroniseerd).

Grootte aanpassen

Gereed (0 afbeeldingen aangepast).

file sciped:.ignore file not readeble.
done(0 files synchronised).
size adjusted.

by the way this could have something to do with te fact that somehow my imagemagic doesn't create a thumbnail, prob to do with

ill try the sulution given there. but isn't it fixed in later versions of s9y, the sulution is from Fri May 27, 2005??

Hi!

The .ignore file is just there so that the 'uploadd' directory is uploaded also when the directory would else be empty.

Is that file readable on your server? Because the message sounds as if that file has no read permissions. You can safely delete it though, once the directory exists on your server.

About imagemagick: Never use "C:\" paths in the s9y configuration, always use "C:/" instead. This will prevent your error from happening so that you do not need to use the patch in that thread.

strange tuh i don't upload i copy files to a lokal server, is it then nessesery to have that file? and if so where does it exxists in the serendipity directory?

Hi!

You don't need that .ignore file. It's just for FTP-uploads of serendipity releases. If you have a 'uploads' directory the file is not required.
