Todo List/Project Manager woes

I'm an extremely new (less than 24 hours) Serendipity user. So far I've found everything extremely easy to set up (relative to other systems I've tried *cough*drupal*cough*)

However a couple things are a bit odd.
I have installed the project manager todo list thing. I really like the idea of it, but if I add something it just doesn't show up. Whether I select a post to tie it to or not. I would really love to have it in the sidebar, is there a way to do that? (The admin page seems to hint that there is, but I haven't found a document that elaborates)

there are a couple of other plugins that I"m having issues with, but I have not yet searched the forums for answers. (so I'll wait on those)

thanks!

Hi!

I'm sorry you got stuck at the project manager; it currently is a bit unmaintained and a bit harder to use.

You can put it in a sidebar by installing the "Event wrapper" sidebar plugin, and then configuring that sidebar plugin (bundled with s9y) to include the project manager event plugin, and then you'll see that code.

This "event wrapper" plugin always was hard to use for people, so it got mostly replaced by paired event+sidebar plugins in the past. The projectmanager is one of the only 2 existing plugins that use this functionality, I believe. :(

HTH,
Garvin

Thanks!!

:D That worked beautifully, it wasn't difficult at all! I must've missed that one when I was going through plugins! (I've set up several CMS/blog systems, and I'm competent to go through php, Serendipity is exceedingly easy!!)

Now... give me a few to search for the answers to audioscrobbler and weather..........
