I would like to keep the blog open to everyone without closing it with a password, but giving the possibility to write comments and trackbacks just to the people that can loggin with username and password.
Is it possible?
If yes how?
Thanks

I don't think you can do that with Trackbacks, since they're a remote API call. Therefore they don't have username and password associated with them. You'll have to moderate them if you want to keep them.
However, the User Self-Registration plugin also contains some nifty stuff for allowing registered users to comment and bypass the SpamBlocker. (Oh, I sure hope I remembered this one correctly. I seem to be getting senile lately.)
Thank you
