Hello, I really want to use this blogging tool but I can't get it installed. Whether I use the simple or expert install I get the same error:

"DIRECTORY_NON_EXISTANT"

There is no other information specified, it simply shows this error in red and the settings page follows on.

I initially had problems with write permissions but I solved this via my control panel through my web host.

The host is seekdotnet - W2K3 server with php extensions.

I have tried pretty much everything and nothing turns up in google. Please help.

Which serendipity version are you trying to install?

You should get this error message only in older releases. In those older release it means that in the installation you tried to enter a path where serendipity was copied to that does not exist.

What did you enter in the "Path to Serendipity" input area?
