Ok, I see that S9Y works on PHP5.
However, how easy or hard? is it to upgrade my S9Y from php4 to PHP5?

With my server I'm able to simulate php5 by adding the following line to the .htaccess file.

AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php

However, when I do it, it get some nasty internal server error...

Just asking as I may transfer my hosting from a php4 based to a PHP5 based server.

Hi!

Serendipity does not need any different configuration if used with PHP5. So just switch your webserver to use PHP5, and serendipity will run as always.

Apart frmo PHP 5.2.0 and serendipity versions below 1.1, as you can read in blog.s9y.org *g* -- we will issue a 1.0.3 release because of this today.

Best regards,
Garvin
