I am a real novice in in using serendipity and haven't got a clue how to import a onestat code into my website.
Thanks!

Hi!
Have you tried to either install a "HTML Nugget" sidebar plugin and paste your HTML code, or to edit your "index.tpl" template file to insert the required code?
Sadly I've never heard of onestat.

I tried pasting the code, but where you are supposed to see the counter's logo, you still see the whole code.
I will otherwise try your other option, although it sounds quite technical...

If you're using the free counter, the code you've been asked to place on your site will go into the html nugget, but before you save this, scroll down the page and make sure 'no' is selected in the 'Perform Markup Transformations" boxes.
Now when you save it and go to your blog you should see your onestat logo.

Hi!
Also make sure that if you enabled the WYSIWYG editor, you must first switch into source code view (the "<>" button!) before you paste HTML code.

Thanks to the both of you. The counter works (although I don't see the logo on my webpage, but that's o.k. with me)
