I log into my admin page ok, but my admin page only contain "welcome xxx message" and links:
"log out" "back to weblog" go to "index page"

Help me please, i'm lost

Hi!

Did you maybe change your personal preferences and removed yourself from all usersgroups? Or maybe you set the option "Forbid to create entries" for your useraccount?

On how to fix this, please search this forum for "right_publish".

i'm logged ok with admin
I have right_publish set to 1
...
and my admin page is blank:


thanks for your suggestions, i'm newbee and really lost, it's worst as i spend 2 hours reading here and web for solution...without success.

Does your blog already contain content?

If not, the easiest solution is to re-install Serendipity. Most probably you have de-assigned yourself from all usergorups.

If you already have content, it will get a bit more complex, as you will have to add yourself to the serendipity_authorgroups table again. If you've looked up the threads I mentioned, you should see a SQL query on what to insert into that table?

I don't have ftp access, restricted by my webpage company which make the installation of serendipity for me.

So i think my solution is to look at serendipity_authorgroups table.

correction: my id is part of admin group and so all looks fine...
