Problem with Posting via XML-RPC

I am having trouble with post via xml-rpc.
I have Performancing set up per their
instructions.
It seems that I am able to log in fine but when I try post, the title and body are blank in s9y. All that shows is an index number. Additionally, I can delete an existing post. The categories show up as well in Performancing.
Thoughts or ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
I am running S9Y v1.0.2 and Post via XML-RPC is v1.25
Thanks for the help!

Hi!
Hm, that sounds a bit strange. Sadly I don't have yet tried performancing, but is that able to use a different API? You could try to use the MT Api or the Blogger API and see if those differ?
Else, maybe you can try another XML-RPC posting tool to see if it works there? Like Ecto or MarsEdit?

Personally I have tested PFF using the MetaWeblog API (instead of Movable Type) and I haven't found any (big) problems with it.
I don't use it regularly though, so I can't be sure it works one hundred percent. But I know it will allow you to post, and I know trackbacks work.
Edit: I should also mention that categories and post "edits" work for me, too.

Wow! You guys are fast!
Let me try a double reply here.
I have tried wbloggar, and now Ecto as well as PFF. I have tried the MetaWeblog API and the Blogger API. The only difference is that when I use anything other than the Moveable Type API nothing posts at all. No errors- it's like the post goes into thin air.
One other thing -- could this in some weird way be related to S9Y being hosted on a windows server? It's a Win2k3 box running IIS 6. Everything has worked great on it right up till this little hiccup.
Thanks again for the quick replies!

Hi Kell!
Hm, sadly I have no IIS box to check this, but this *might* be a reason.
Other reasons could be influencing event plugins; which other plugins do you have installed?
Best regards,

I have an IIS 4 box floating around somewhere, but I doubt it would tell us much. IIS has changed too much in version 6 to draw any comparison.
It you want to test to see what is going on you could download "Fiddler" (
http://www.fiddlertool.com/fiddler/ ). It is an HTTP debugger (basically a simple packet capture proxy).
You download and install it, then you can point your blog client to use it as a proxy server (set under network in Firefox, other tools have other places). Fiddler has to be running to pass traffic then (so you only want it configured temporarily), but it will capture a copy of all the data sent back and forth.
Then you can try what you would do normally and see what is happening.
You could even send me a packet capture if you want, and I could take a look (bare in mind that packet captures _will_ contain your password).
Or if you want me to give it a try you could give me an account on your blog. (Feel free to send me a private message if you want to go that route).

Matthew,
I am taking a look at Fiddler now. It's a pretty cool program - I've never run across it before. I've got some other places where I think I might put it to use...
As for for my little problem...I didn't think that this was going to turn into this sort of problem - I thought it was just something that I was missing and I don't want to take up a lot of anyone's time.
I appreciate all the help, though.
