Problem with grouprights

I have a perculiar thing with the grouprights. I changed some settings for a user and some groups and now this user is not able to publish only able to create drafts. No matter how much right I grant hime, he can only create drafts. Any idea what could be the problem?

Hi!

Check the configuration of that user (not the group) and see if this "Forbid creating entries" option is set. Also check the setting where you can configured, if a user is able to publish entries.

You were right about this setting. I had "allow to publish" off. I can't believe I missed that one.
