HTML (google adsense) in extended body of news article

hello, all. I tried searching these forums and searching on Google without much luck.

What I am wanting to do is place html code (more specifically Google Adsense code) into the extended body of my news articles. In a longer article I might want to place the same code 2 or 3 times into different places of the article. I already figured out how to get the code into my .tpl files, but i am wanting to get it into the actual news article.

any suggestions?

I'm not sure this will work, but it's just a few minutes to try. So what have you got to lose? :)

I've installed the " Markup: Include entry data/templates/blocks" plugin. Besides allowing you to include data from entries in other entries, it also allows you to create "blocks" that you can reference by putting [s9y-include-block:1] (or whatever number) in your entries.

So, it should be as simple as making an adsense block and putting it wherever you want in your entries. I just don't know if it'll do Javascript.

Hi

How do I put the [s9y-include-block:1] in an entry?
If i only put [s9y-include-block:1], it appears as text.

thanks

Hi Classicrallies!

Are you sure you created a block with the ID1, and installed the plugin that judebert mentioned?
