Hey y'all!

Currently I am using a weblog system that appears to have stopped being actively developed and I am considering a switch to sendipity.
There's a question I have about the required modules and extensions for graphics use:

My gd version (according to phpinfo()) 1.6.2 or higher. will that be sufficient to use all the features serendipity has to offer? Unfortunately I do not have Image Magick installed..

I'm not sure about that. How come you can't get ImageMagick installed?

Even though the FAQ says that you need GD2, I'd give GD1.6 a shot. They only thing it needs to be able to do is scale images, and I would think GD1.6 can do that. But I'm not sure. Not at all...

Easy answer

I do not have direct access to my hosting computer. And my provider doesn't feel like installing Image Magick, so I'll have to stick with what's there..

unfortunately not yet. Life got in the way of getting things done and I had to postpone trying out serendipity..
