I couldn't help but notice that the theme has some resemblance to your Hipporatorium (http://www.gohip.de/index.php?/categori ... poratorium) style - so I thought, wouldn't it be nice to "pimp" the Hippo-Theme to support the Thors Hammer sub-theme as a "colorset" option? I figure the basic layout could somewhat be alike, so with the serendipity 1.1 features of configuring a theme, this might be something worth investigating?

Carl has some 1.1 enabled themes online where you could see how he did that using the config.inc.php file? Also some documentation is here: http://www.s9y.org/137.html

Mir ist dabei jedoch aufgefallen, dass dieses Theme dem Hipporatorium-Theme in einigen Punkten doch sehr ähnlich sieht. Wäre es da nicht nett, das Hippo-Theme einfach etwas aufzubohren, und so das Thors-Hammer Theme einfach als Unter-Theme anzubieten? Das ließe sich mittels der "Colorset"-Möglichkeit relativ leicht einbinden, denke ich. Das grundlegende Layout der .tpl Dateien ist ja evtl. sehr ähnlich, dass mit CSS da schon eine Menge erreicht werden könnte. Mit dem Serendipity 1.1-Feature der Theme-Konfiguration könnte das sehr interessant sein.

Carl Galloways hat bereits mehrere 1.1-fähige Themes entwickelt und online gestellt, da könntest Du z.B. mal reinsehen um zu gucken wie er colorsets bzw. Designvariationen anbietet. Das alles funktioniet über eine einfache config.inc.php Datei, und dann einfachen Smarty-IF-Abfragen in den Templates, die je nach gewählter Designvariation untershciedliche Dinge anzeigen.
