php 4.4.4 Save Draft Timeout

Can anyone out there verify that a timeout when saving drafts occurs with php 4.4.4?
site5.com, my host, just updated to php 4.4.4 yesterday and now I am unable to save drafts.
Publishing is ok...but drafts aren't working.

Hi!
Did your provider maybe install any other tools or changed the PHP configuration? Saving drafts should make little problem, it'S evern more unproblematic than saving a published item

The changelog they posted didn't have any further tweaks or additives...it was mainly a bug patching as I remember.
I'll look to see what actually has changed and get back to you here.
It may be a phpsession variable because its timing out currently. I'll do some more investigation.

What is the php class that is posting the draft? It's happening on other sites I have hosted at site5.com as well.

Uh, there is much code involved. Have a look in include/functions_entries.inc.php, the serendipity_updertEntry() function.
