Anti-spam blocking comments of Admin

For whatever reason the spamblock plugin blocks all comments from Authors and even the Admin.
Regular people can still comment however.
The message displayed is as follows:
Spam Protection: Your IP is listed as Open Relay. Contact your ISP!
Your comment could not be added, because comments for this entry have either been disabled, you entered invalid data, or your comment was caught by anti-spam measurements.
I have set the "Disable spamblock for Authors" to "All Authors".
Still it doesn't work...
Anyone have a solution?

Hi!
You are using the SURBL or DNSBL spamblock plugin addon. Deinstall or remove it.
Or, you need to get yourself a different IPs. Yours is listed as an open realy. First check, if maybe you are not the open relay or zombie machine with trojan horses on it.
Best regards,

Correct: I am using both RBL and DNSBL plugin
However: when I commented I am with in my own network (LAN) so my IP is a local ip (e.g. 192.168.1.xxx)...
I got this message after I migrated to Linux, so this is the first time.
I understand where maybe local IP's are blocked? When I tried to add a comment from my workplace there was no problem.
So it seems that the RBL is blocking private IP's?

Hi!
Ah, yes. That seems to be the case, yes. Sine RBL/DNSBL are external plugins maintained by a different plugin author you might want to contact Sebastian Nohn and ask him if this is intentional?

It must be the case because as said I can post from any other computer outside my network..
I will ask them if I am correct to assume that local/private IP's are blocked? Although that never happened before: just now I have migrated to Linux.
On the other hand: one would expect that the main anti-spam plugin overules this one? So: "if admin" ignore *any* spamcheck...

Hi!
No, that setting in the main plugin only applies to the spamblock main plugin. The other plugins are completely independent.
It might be that only on your linux machine you are accessing your blog locally; and on your windows server you might have always used a proper internet IP instead of LAN.
