remove the horizontal scroll bar

Hello,

i have install s9y some days ago and a big problem. How could i remove the horizontal scroll bar of my browser (firefox 1.0). It's absolutely unnecessarily on a 17", 19" or larger monitor.

You can edit your 'style.css' of the template, and find the definition for "#serendipity_banner" - there you can remove either the "border" attributes, or you can change "width: 100%" to "width: 99%" - depends on what you visually prefer.

Since I personally don't use the default template, I will talk with the other developers and see how that glitch can be changed in the future. Thanks for reporting this, I wasn't aware of this!

I set the borders to zero and it looks like bevor but without a horizontal scrollbar. The way to set the wide to 99% don't looks very fine.

Hi, im using the Idea Theme and have also Problem with the Scrollbar, so 1 first remove the Border and the insert a width: 96 % but i still get the hor. scrollbar in my frameset.

Rolli: I think this is a problem of your surrounding frameset and/or style definitions within that.

Because when I view your blog seperately in http://www.bibi-rolli.de/blog/index.php I see no horizontal scrollbar. So please check if you set any margins/paddings inside your frameset definition.
