Comment form anonymous submission with user registration on?

I asked this in another thread but it looks like it got buried/ignored.

Anyway was just wondering if I had missed something as I'd like to be able to allow people to send me information via the comment form anonymously along with having comments on the blog be registered user only.

Did I miss a check box where this is just a simple/easy thing, or is this somewhat difficult to achieve?
