Cloud of tags - Plugin?

Hi,

Is there any plugin which can pick up some important keywords for a given post, the category names, selected words from the post titles and display them as links in a tag cloud.

Based on the number of clicks a link gets in a cloud, make it bigger or smaller.

This cloud is much similar to what you see for delicious, and other book marking sites for 3rd party sites.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Hi there

the serendipity event plugin "Tagging of entries" (serendipity_plugin_freetag) which you can download via Spartacus will do what you want.

Or you can download it here http://spartacus.s9y.org/index.php?mode ... RELATED_en

Okay, I got it installed now. However, I wanted it as a cloud on the main page or may be all the pages, if i place it in a sidebar.

Also, the anchor text 'Show tagged entries' is now in the sidebar and it is not linked. Does this text turn into a link only there are tags?

Thanks

Hi!

Could you give us the URL of your site?

You can use smarty templating to put the output of the sidebar plugin anywhere else on the page, if you like. More info on that is in the s9y.org technical documentation about special smarty features...

Best regards,
Garvin

Was that problem solved? I'm asking because I have the same symptoms: Just the text "Show tagged entries", no tag cloud.

Hi!

I think the tags only show up if at least 2 entries have a tag. This is to prevent tag overflow for tags rarely used.
