How can i install plug-ins?

Hello!
I have a question: I want to upload a plug-in, e.g. the translator or the Wikipedia Finder! I must load the files in the Root-Folder, haven't i?
And what must a do afterwards? At the moment, i can't see the Plugins at the Admin in the List!
