s9y_visitors table in MySQL

Post by juergen »

Hi,

is there any hidden or unseen feature like logrotate for handling s9y_visitors table in MySQL? It's growing up to a very huge table after some weeks.

Maybe, deleting and reinstalling the statistics plugin will help, but this is a little bit crazy.

Thanks for a hint,
Juergen

Hi!

Sadly there isn't. The original programmer of the statistics visitor-tracking wanted to do that, but I think he hasn't yet found the time to do so. So you would need to either write your own cronjob to take care of it, or adapt the plugin to create new tables every once in a while?

Best regards,
Garvin
