problems with getting plugins[guestbook/contact/static pages

I cannot get the above mentioned items to show up! I don't understand. At first i thought it was theme maybe but that doesn't seem to be the case. I really like Serendipity, it finally seems to do exactly what i want and it looks very stylish to.

I would just like to have a guestbook, contacts, and some static page [about me] on the sidebar. plugins like the shoutbox do work ok.

what am i doing wrong here? Is there a maximum amount of plugins allowed on the sidebar or something ? I'm at a total loss!

Hi!

Usually you must just configure the URL you want to use in the staticpage / guestbook plugin. You enter a headline link there that you can use to access those pages. For guestbook by default this would be:

http://yourlbog/index.php?serendipity[s ... =guestbook

You could alsoi try to install the staticpage SIDEBAR plugin, this also gives you the ability to list links to specific pages.
