Problems after Update from 0.9 to 1.0: Including images

Hello everyone, hello Garv (I know you will be the first one who reads this.. ;-) ),

I got serious problems after the update from 0.9 to 1.0 regarding the creation of entries and including images.

The creation of the new entry works as usual, also does the image upload. After that I tried to include the image via the image library (I click the symbol in the editor, choose the image and set the parameters like size, alignment and link), but that did not work. Clicking the Apply button (which normally closes the dialog and includes the image) takes no effect.

I uploaded the new files (weblog software) manually. File for file for file..., the permissions should be set properly. The JajaSript console says the following:

Error: serendipity_imageSelector_done is not defined
Source File: http://domain.tld/serendipity_admin_ima ... [image]=46
Line: 1

Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?

Ciao Ciao!
Peter

Hi!

I thin kthis can be caused by an invalid browser cache. Please force the load of the new javascript by either F5/Shift-F5 refreshing your browser, removing the browser cache or by calling the serendipity_editor.js file in your browser manually...

Garvin

Hi and thanks for your answer!

I completed everything you suggested but the error stays the same. I also tried the steps with another browser and on a different computer. That means the browser cache should not be the problem.

Internet Explorer says (script error):

Zeile: 80
Zeichen: 20
Fehler: Objekt erwartet
Code: 0
URL: http://domain.tld/serendipity_admin_ima ... [image]=46

Any other ideas?

Regards
Peter

Hi!

Did you re-upload the serendipity_editor.js file so that it is the most recent one? The missing _done() function should be declared, though. I think it's due to incompatible/missing files. Are you able to create me a test user account on your blog so that I can have a look?

Regards,
Garvin

OK, Garvin finally managed to find and solve the problem. Either something went wrong when I unpacked or uploaded the serendipity_editor.js file. It was cut in the middle and did not work properly because of that.

Thanks very much again!
