Hi!
I have upgrade my blog from 1b3 to 1.0 and now I can't edit comments correctly.

In edited comments showing my logname (latin symbols) instead real user name who wrote this comment (cyrillic symbols) what I saw in 1b3

Thank you.

Hi!

It might be that your browser is only showing you the default stored username in that field, did you try to view the HTML output of that page and look what the input field holds for the username?

Because nothing in that area has changed from 1.0-beta3 to 1.0.

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi, Garvin!

I see real user name in input field before comment was edited by me. And after I see in this field my logname.
May be it's feature not bug :) ?[/b]

Hi!

Which event/sidebar plugins are you using? If you have the user self-registration plugin enabled and set the "Prevent identity faking" option enabled, it might be the reason why your username is inserted when editing a comment...

Yes I use this plugin as sidebar and as event.
But previouse release this plugin does not change username field after I edit comments. Which behavior is right: that or this?

Hi!

Yes, actually the plugin was modified because in earlier versions the privacy option did not properly work!

So the new behaviour is actually a bit more right, but your usage scenario would also be a valid one.

I just commiited version 2.18 of this plugin, where the name is no longer changed! It should be available on spartacus in < 48 hours.

Garvin
