my serendipity/archives folder doesnt seem to be working correctly. I just finished an upgrade from 0.6 to 0.7-rc1. everything seems to work fine except for the archives folder. There is nothing in there and whenever i try to view the blog entry, it gives me a 404, because nothing is there..

The folder IS chmodded 777, i have no idea other of how to fix this.

Are you using mod_rewrite or apache error handling? Try changing to something else then back (which will, theoretically, rewrite your .htaccess file). If that doesn't work, make sure your server has the proper AllowOverride options for that directory, and that the .htaccess file makes sense. Otherwise, you may need to disable URL rewriting.

There's never anything in the archives folder, a common incorrect assumption.
