hi, i'm trying s9y and it's very cool, really. so i want to import my old mt-entries but unfortunately it doesn't work like i expect.

rss-import starts and finishes immediately without any error messages. btw, where is the s9y-logfile?

the other way, moveabletype records, i walked using a fully local index.xml with the same result.

thx for any helpfully hints,
Juergen

Hi!

The MT import requires the MT plain text file format, no XML file.

The RSS import though should work, if your webserv has HTTP fetch support and is not firewalled.

What's the URL you tried to import?

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi!

The "MT plain text" file is something that MT can create. In its admin interface you have an option to create an export file, which you can then use. It contains all of your entries there...
